Occupational Therapy

plays a crucial role in helping children develop the skills needed for daily living, focusing on their “occupations” which include play, self-care, and learning. Through engaging activities, occupational therapists address areas such as fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception, sensory processing, and self-regulation, enabling children to participate more fully in their home, school, and community environments. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, evidence-based therapy that systematically applies principles of learning to improve socially significant behaviors, particularly effective for children with autism spectrum disorder. ABA therapists use structured teaching, positive reinforcement, and data-driven methods to develop communication, social interaction, and adaptive living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Speech Therapy

delivered by speech-language pathologists, is vital for children experiencing difficulties with communication and swallowing. This therapy addresses various concerns including articulation, language comprehension and expression, social communication, voice, and fluency (stuttering), ensuring children can effectively interact with their world and safely consume food and drink. Sensory Integration (SI) Therapy, a specialized form of occupational therapy, is designed for children who struggle to process sensory information from their environment. Through carefully designed play-based activities that provide controlled sensory input, this therapy helps a child’s nervous system better organize sensations like touch, movement, and sound, leading to improved self-regulation, motor skills, and overall adaptive responses.

With Dr. prashant singh

Reflex integration therapy

It focuses on addressing primitive reflexes that persist beyond their typical developmental stage and can interfere with a child’s development. By engaging in specific movements that mimic early developmental patterns, this therapy helps to integrate these reflexes, fostering improvements in motor control, balance, coordination, and cognitive functions. Finally, Play Way Therapy leverages the natural inclination of children to play, using it as a therapeutic medium to help them express emotions, develop problem-solving abilities, and learn new behaviors in a non-threatening environment. This approach is instrumental in addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, promoting healthy emotional development and improving social competence in children.

Play Way Therapy

Play Way Therapy(or Play Therapy) is a form of psychotherapy for children that uses play to help children express feelings, develop problem-solving skills, and learn new behaviors. For children, play is a natural medium for communication and exploration. In play therapy, trained therapists utilize various play materials and techniques to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can process emotions, explore social situations, and develop coping mechanisms without the pressure of direct questioning. This approach is particularly effective because it meets children at their developmental level, allowing them to communicate and resolve issues in a way that feels comfortable and familiar to them. It’s often used to address emotional difficulties, trauma, behavioral challenges, and developmental delays, helping children build self-confidence, improve social skills, and foster emotional regulation.

Sensory Integration Therappy

is a specialized form of occupational therapy tailored for children who struggle to process and respond appropriately to sensory information from their environment. This evidence-based approach aims to help a child’s brain better organize and interpret sensations like touch, movement (vestibular input), and body position (proprioceptive input), which are crucial for daily functioning and learning. Through carefully designed play-based activities within a sensory-rich environment (often a dedicated sensory gym), therapists provide controlled sensory input to challenge and support the child’s nervous system. The goal is to improve the child’s ability to regulate emotions, develop motor skills, enhance attention, and participate more effectively in social situations. This can lead to significant improvements in areas such as self-regulation, coordination, focus, and overall adaptive responses to their world, empowering children to feel more comfortable and confident
